Jason Nappi Weather is a direct-to-audience mobile weather product for iPhone, iPad and Android. Jason led its brand positioning, forecast content, product communication and audience strategy to give users practical weather information without unnecessary hype.

Project Overview

The app brings interactive radar, location-based forecasts, timely alerts, storm tracking, fishing guidance and forecast videos into one mobile experience. It serves users beyond Maine while keeping Jason’s original forecasting and analysis focused on Maine and New England.

The Challenge

Weather audiences often move between television, social media, websites and generic weather apps to find the information they need. The goal was to create a recognizable, useful destination that combined automated weather tools with direct communication from a trusted meteorologist.

The product also needed to explain its value clearly, support both free and premium users, and remain useful during everyday weather as well as major storms.
